Airport Community Schools recently issued the following announcement.
Congratulations to our Airport High School welding students who placed in the Top 10 of the Local 25 Ironworkers Regional Competition! Airport students claimed 8 of those 10 spots.
Mr. Chase Dowler, welding instructor, took more than 50 welders to the Ironworkers training facility in Wixom to compete on Tuesday. Each participant received 1.5 hours to complete their weldment, with the Top 10 earning rewards!
Our winning students included:

3. Davis Leigh - 11th grade
4. Bryce Vance - 12th grade
5. Madison Bruck - 11th grade
6. Brock Souva - 11th grade
7. Dylan Searfoss - 11th grade
