Dundee village recently issued the following announcement.
Dundee Police assist MSP in the recovery of an occupied stolen vehicle
On Friday July 30th at approximately 4:15pm, Dundee Police were dispatched to Bell Estates on Helle Blvd. regarding a suspicious subject looking into vehicles in the parking lot.
Upon arrival, Dundee PD Sgt. John Ouellette learned that the individual had left just prior to his arrival. Sgt Ouellette shared that information with other officers and troopers in the area. Moments later MSP troopers located the subject in an occupied Ford Fiesta in the Citgo parking lot on Tecumseh St. Troopers determined this vehicle had been reported stolen earlier out of Milan, MI.
The five juvenile occupants were taken into custody without incident. This recovery was made possible thanks to the concerned citizen reporting the suspicious situation and very good teamwork by area law enforcement agencies
