River Raisin National Battlefield Park is accepting applications for the 2023 Community Volunteer Ambassador Internship. The Community Volunteer Ambassador (CVA) will serve as part of the volunteer management team and play a key role in volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling, recognition, and program management. The CVA will serve as the front-line volunteer coordinator for the park’s individual programs, as well as coordinate group service projects for a diverse range of volunteers. The CVA will also implement an outreach plan focused on community engagement and youth audiences that includes social media, website, and community event participation. The CVA will also be trained in visitor service and interpretation and have the opportunity to provide programs to K-12 youth, seniors, organized groups, and general visitors.
