Completion of the new Downtown Transfer Station at City Hall

Today, Lake Erie Transit and the City of Monroe celebrated the completion of the new Downtown Transfer Station at City Hall.

Built in partnership with the City of Monroe, the new Downtown Transfer Station provides much-needed rider convenience in what was vacated space in City Hall. The station, in the northwest corner of the ground floor, offers comfortable seating, monitors showing bus schedules and arrival times, and wheelchair- and disability-accessible restrooms that also can be made available during community festivals and special events. It's also easy to watch for bus arrivals from our large, glass-covered walkway and outdoor seating.

Check out the new transfer station next time you are in Downtown Monroe!
