City of Petersburg issued the following announcement on Feb 15.
The City of Petersburg has an immediate full time opening in its DPW department which requires weekend coverage every 4th weekend and on call for emergency water/sewer issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a Michigan CDL license, the ability to operate a backhoe, end loader, snowplow and other equipment associated with street, water/sewer maintenance, and Class D wastewater and S-4 water licenses (or able to attain licenses). Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Residence within 20 minutes preferred. Wage starting at $18/hour, determined by qualifications/experience. Full benefits.
