SEASONAL HELP
The Seasonal Administrative Assistant position requires a person with good interpersonal skill, excellent telephone skills, handle money with exceptional accuracy, be reliable and organized.
A Seasonal employee will be called upon to work on day(s)/week(s) when someone in the Treasurer’s Department is either sick, on vacation or during preparation and collection (due dates) of the summer and winter tax bills and sewer use bills.
The seasonal employee will perform all duties at the direction of the Treasurer and /or Deputy Treasurer.
Typical duties include but are not limited to are:
- Collect payments for taxes, sewer use bills, water use bills, special assessments and any other over the counter transaction either at the drive -up window or in the office.
- Handle day-to-day phone calls from taxpayers regarding taxes and sewer use bills.
- Assist in preparing summer and winter tax bills.
- Knowledge in BSA software is preferred but not required.
