City of Luna Pier recently issued the following announcement.
Please be advised, the rain turning to snow, turning to slush and now freezing into solid ice is presenting a huge challenge as we try to keep the streets passible. Our crew is working day and night. The snow and ice is extremely heavy and hard to move. Don't over-do it.
The snow is expected to continue all day. If you need help, please private message us through Facebook or call the Luna Pier Police non-emergency number. Some good citizens and neighbors have graciously offered to help neighbors in need. Don't try to do this alone.
This is a heart attack type of snow. Stay safe and we will get through this together.
