As we say goodbye to the Month of January, Airport Community Schools would like to honor our district's outstanding Board of Education for School Board Appreciation Month!
Our district is proud to have a supportive Board of Education that truly cares for our students, staff, facilities and community! If it's what's best for kids, our Board will find a way to make it happen!
During the Thursday, Jan. 27 Board meeting, a few of our students came together to show their appreciation for our school board.
Airport High School juniors Abbie DuFore and Maddi Dickinson created a school safety video that explained the district's many safety features and thanked the Board for supporting safety in our schools.
Wagar Middle School eighth grader River Feaganes presented a candy surprise (see attached) that brought big smiles to our Board members' faces!
Thank you for all you do, Board of Education!
