Dundee Village issued the following announcement on Sept 23.
The Monroe County Road Commission (MCRC) along with other various entities have determined a solution for local traffic in the rural areas of Milan Township, London Township, and Dundee Township. It is our current understanding that the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has deployed a contractor to Install detour signs staring today which will indicate the through traffic and commercial vehicle detour route.
Local vehicle traffic may use the following primary road system detour:
Northbound: Northbound Ann Arbor Road to westbound Cone Road to northbound Wabash Road to eastbound Main Street to US23
Southbound: Westbound Main Street to southbound Wabash Road to eastbound Cone Road to US23
Motorists are NOT permitted to block he entrance to the fire station located on Wabash Road in the City of Milan.
A three (3) ton emergency loading restriction is in effect on the signed detour route under MCRC Jurisdiction effective Immediately and until posted signs are removed
All US-23 through traffic and commercial vehicles MUST follow the MDOT detour as indicated below:
Detour for Northbound US-23: Eastbound I-475 Toledo, Ohio to Northbound I-75 to Northbound I-275 to westbound I-94 to US-23
Detour for Southbound US-23: Eastbound I-94 Ann Arbor, Michigan to Southbound I-275 to southbound 1-75 to westbound 1-475 in Toledo. Ohio to US-23
