The Erie-Ida Eagles all swam great tonight at their opening meet against Milan and Adrian!
Audrey Hempel was our top scorer.
Congratulations to Audrey Hempel and Hannah Palacio for being named this year’s Co-Captains!
Audrey Hempel took 2nd place in her 500 Free; and had a PR in her 50 Free.
Hannah Palacio had a PR in her 50 Free and 100 Free.
Kinsey Smith took 2nd place against Adrian in her 100 Back.
Alexa Chesney had a PR in her 100 Back.
Morgan Collyer had a PR in her 200 Free and her 100 Breaststroke.
Mia Balcerzak took 2nd place in her 100 Free.
The 400 Free Relay of Gracie Dean, Kinsey Smith, Alexa Chesney, and Sophia Sorg took 1st place against Adrian.
The 200 Medley Relay of Kinsey Smith, Audrey Hempel, Riley Jacobs, and Hannah Palacio took 2nd against Adrian.
The 200 Free Relay of Riley Jacobs, Hannah Palacio, Mia Balcerzak, and Audrey Hempel took 2nd place with a great finish against Adrian.
Izzy Peron, Gracie Dean, Mia Balcerzak, Ellie Crawford, and Dakota Earl all had a great first meet as Lady Eagles!
Our final scores were: Milan 142 - Eagles 36 and Adrian 103 - Eagles 71.
We are looking forward to a great season! Out next meet is Thursday, 8/26 @ 6pm at Tecumseh.
