Monroe Review

Of the 5,977 people living in South Monroe in 2019, 54.2 percent (3,238) were women and 45.8 percent (2,739) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Monroe Review.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,684-to-1,658. In the 65 and over age range, there were 982 females and 483 males.
