The City of Monroe issued the following announcement Oct. 19.
We continue to share the most frequently asked election questions received by our City Clerk's Office with post about the upcoming November 3rd election.
When are AV ballots opened? AV (absentee) ballots returned to the Clerk's office are stored in a locked room by precinct until election day. On November 3rd they will be forwarded to the AV Counting Board and will be opened and counted.
