CITY OF MONROE: Vigil Service for Vivian Rosini

Zz

City of Monroe issued the following announcement on August 13.

The Lord called Vivian home on July 16, 2020. What an exceptional woman, wife, and mother she was. To know Vivian was to love her. Her bright smile and infectious positive attitude affected everyone who knew her. Vivian was born on February 26, 1944 in Chicago, IL. She was the oldest of 9 children. She married Dennis Rosini in 1963 after meeting each other at the University of Florida.  They were married for 56 years. Her proudest achievements were her four children David, Greg, Denise, and Doug, along with her nine grandchildren. They were her true joy and inspiration.

Although Vivian lived with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for 43 years and in the end she was bedridden, MS never defined her.  She is our light and angel. May she forever dance with the Lord.

The family will welcome guests on August 13, 2020 at a 7:00 p.m. for a Vigil Service and on August 14, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. for her Funeral Mass. Both events will be held at Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 2700 West Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX 75023.  Social distancing measures will be closely followed at the service.  For friends and relatives unable to travel, the service will be live streamed by the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, www.nationalmssociety.org/donate.
