The Dundee Police Department has saluted a member of its Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) during its annual recognition and awards banquet last week.
Brad Luck of VIPS was recognized as Volunteer of the Year for 2020, according to the police department’s Facebook page on July 22.
"'Pastor Brad' is the volunteer chaplain for the Dundee Police Department. He lives in the village and serves as the pastor at Dundee United Methodist Church," the department explained on Facebook.
Village workers joined Dundee Police Department officers in providing the food that was served at the annual event.
The city is also looking for more help from volunteers to be on the VIPS team. Those interested are encouraged to reach out to Dundee Police Department’s Sgt. Randy Sehl at rsehl@villageofdundee.net or call 734-529-3430 for more information and details on how to become a volunteer.
