City of Petersburg issued the following announcement.
The Petersburg Office of Billing and Collections will be closed on Thursday, July 16; Friday, July 17; and Friday, July 31 for in-service training.
The Commissioner of the Revenue Office will be closed to the public on those dates. The Commissioner of the Revenue staff members will only be available by phone and email on July 16, 17, and 31 from 8:30am-5:00pm. Payment options will still be available through the drop box and the online portal. To pay online, visit www.petersburgva.gov and click the Online Payments option. Drop boxes for Billing and Collections and the Commissioner of the Revenue are located at 144 North Sycamore Street in Petersburg.
The due date for June utility bills is Thursday, July 23.
