The seminar is an interactive presentation that shows high school students how to succeed financially, keep them from living paycheck to paycheck, and be able to comfortably retire someday. It will include the advantages of starting to save early in life, living below your means, saving for retirement, and investing in the stock market.
SPEAKER: Dean Somerville is the author of Make Me Rich: The Path to Financial Freedom for your High School / College Student.
The FYI series was developed by Round Rock ISD counseling services to inform the community about timely health and well-being topics affecting today's high school students.
A survey, taken by high school students and their parents, identified the selected topics as important subject-matters.
Session will be held at the Old Hopewell Meeting Room, immediately adjacent to the Round Rock ISD Lillie Delgado Administration Building located at 1311 Round Rock Ave. Round Rock, TX from 6 to 7 p.m.
