MCCC's very popular Tae Kwon Do classes are back!

MCCC's very popular Tae Kwon Do classes are back! There are three more sessions to be offered through December. The cost is $60 per person with a senior discount rate of $31.50. Participants can add a private lesson to this class package for a total cost of $95 ($59 for senior citizens), which is a popular option for many students. Additional private lessons can also be scheduled at the student's request. Fees and times can be arranged through the Office of Lifelong Learning at 734-384-4127. 

A Back-to-School Self-Defense Seminar will be held Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 7-8 p.m.  in the Welch Health Educational Building on the Main Campus. This seminar will cover simple self-defense strategies designed to protect children ages 5 - 12 from attackers. Participants will learn how to recognize threatening situations, methods of responding to them, and how to mentally and emotionally gather the confidence they need to survive an attack. The cost is $10. A parent or guardian must accompany children to the class.
