Good morning, Ida High School!
Prom is May 7th from 6:00 to 10:30 pm at Knights of Columbus in Monroe.After Prom is to be held at Level Up in Monroe from 10:30 pm to 1:00 am. Prom tickets will be sold from April 19th to April 22nd at lunch for $70, which include After Prom.
Juniors- Tomorrow you will be taking the SAT in your assigned classroom. Breakfast will be offered at 7:30. Please be here to report to your room by 7:40. A snack will be provided during testing. If you bring your own snack, please drop it off in Mr. LaRoy’s room prior to testing.
Freshmen & Sophomores will be attending the field trip to Henry Ford Museum. Enter the school near the cafeteria and report directly to the cafeteria. You will not have access to your lockers. Anything you must bring to school may be left in the cafeteria while you are on the field trip.
Seniors will have a mandatory meeting in the cafeteria at 9 am
Thursday, April 14th, Juniors will take the Work Keys in the gymnasium. Breakfast will be offered at 7:30. Please be here and report to the gymnasium by 7:40.
Freshmen and Sophomores will take the PSAT 9 and 10 in the assigned classroom.
If you ordered a lunch through the cafeteria on this day, please pick it up in the office after testing. Breakfast will be offered at 7:30. You will need to report to your testing classroom by 7:50. Freshmen and Sophomores will be dismissed at 11:30.
If you signed up for transportation, busses will be ready for pick up by the middle school.
Seniors- On Thursday you will stay home to work on your post-secondary plans
Just a reminder: You need to bring two number 2 pencils and a calculator. Phones and watches are not permitted in the testing room. When you arrive to school on testing days, please turn your phone and watch into the office.
Seniors -If you are interested in the Monroe County Career Expo on April 26th, please sign up using the link on your English 4 Google Classroom by Wednesday.
Seniors -MCCC will offer a Senior Day tomorrow, April 13th from 9:00-1:00 This is a great opportunity for any Seniors who plan to go to MCCC next year. You will get a campus tour, hear from current students, and get a free lunch. If you are interested, you have to sign up using the link in your English 4 Google Classroom or sign up in the office by 3:30. The link has not been working for everyone.
Juniors & Seniors- If you are interested in applying to the MCCC Nursing program, Mrs. Riley is offering a lunch meeting today in room 103 to go over the program and application
Freshmen- You may pick up your spiritwear in Mrs. Gemmel’s room.
Ladies- there is a sign-up sheet in the office for this year’s Powderpuff game on May 13. Senior boys, if you are interested in being a cheerleader for the Powderpuff game, you may sign up in the office. If you are participating in a spring sport, you
must have preapproval from your coach to play or cheer.
Varsity Boys’ Baseball has an early dismissal today at 2:30.
