Dundee Police Department issued the following announcement on Mar 4.

Dodge Challenger Stolen from Dundee Recovered in Findlay Ohio

On Wednesday March 2nd a 2020 Dodge Challenger was stolen from the employee parking lot of Stellantis (Chrysler Engine Plant) at 5800 N. Ann Arbor Rd. in the Village of Dundee.  Security surveillance video confirmed the theft occurred between 2:00pm and 2:30pm.

It appeared that a window was broken to gain entry to the vehicle and it was driven away by technical means without keys.  The victim is a Britton, MI resident and works at the plant.

The Ohio Highway Patrol contacted Dundee Police overnight to report they had recovered the vehicle and arrested the driver following a pursuit near Findlay OH.  The driver had attempted to flee on foot after abandoning the Challenger and was apprehended with the assistance of a canine from the Ohio Highway Patrol.  The canine "took a bite out of crime" while the male suspect (a 30 year- old Dayton, Ohio resident) was taken into custody and lodged in the Hancock Ohio County Jail.  The subject is facing felony charges of possession of stolen property and fleeing & eluding.  The vehicle was not damaged.

The Dundee Police would like to thank the Ohio Highway Patrol for their excellent work in recovering the vehicle and arresting the suspect.
