Monroe County Community College issued the following announcement on Feb 1.

Monroe County Community College is hosting numerous online events in recognition of Black History Month.  All of these events are free and open to the public.

Thursday, February 3, 2022, 2:00 p.m. Fighting Apartheid: Mandela and Tutu via Zoom

Saturday, February 19, 2022, 5:00 p.m. Black History Month Celebration of Black Artists at River Raisin National Battlefield Park

Monday, February 21, 2022, 5:30 p.m. What They Didn’t Want Martin to Talk About - Militarism via Zoom

Tuesday, February 22, 2022, 5:30 p.m. What is Critical Race Theory? Panel Discussion via Zoom
