Lots of good stuff from last night's Board meeting!

Congratulations to the December Staff Member of the Month: Mrs. JoAnna Lewis! Her nominations were plentiful, and full of kindness and praise.

-"JoAnna is a quintessential educator who always puts 100% in her daily instruction. Mason Middle School is lucky to have her in our building."

-"She is a thoughtful and kind teacher who always puts her student's needs and learning first."

-"She genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She goes the extra mile to help all of her students, not only academically, but socially/emotionally as well."

-"JoAnna is always finding new strategies to engage her students. She also gives back by being a unit leader, Quiz Bowl coach, and mentors future educators from University of Toledo."

-"Her patience and willingness to help students understand the material is second to none. She is also a great team player and is willing to help any other staff member when in need."

Mason Middle's Student Council (Issabella Cureton, Molly Sepulveda, Paige Konrad, and Grace Albright) thanked the school board for their service with a kind speech. Awesome leadership, Eagles!
