Mason Consolidated Schools recently issued the following announcement.
We want to give a big THANK YOU to Dollar General Literacy Foundation for our library grant this year!
We are going to use it to fill up our shelves in the Middle School and High School library! (And you can see that Mrs. Hopper has already begun to order new books!)
Another special THANK YOU to Ms. Blackburn for her interest and passion for childhood literacy that drove her to research, collaborate, and submit the grant proposal. The proposal included Mrs. Hopper's plan to bring books that children request and enjoy reading to the library, because "happy readers are lifetime readers!"
