Ida Public School District recently issued the following announcement.

Good morning Ida High School! 

Happy National Donut Day and for our gingers, it’s also National Love Your Red Hair Day!

Tonight’s playoff game tickets will again need to be purchased through the Go Fan App. Do not screenshot your tickets. The theme for tonight’s game is “Hick.”

Competitive cheer tryouts will be next week, Monday November 8th, from 6:30-9 (in the MS cafeteria) and Tuesday November 9th from 3:30-6 (in the HS cafeteria.) As always, you must have a current year physical on file to participate. Contact Coach Nichole with any questions. There is a sign-up sheet in the office for all who are interested. 

Teachers and Students- Just a reminder- We are no longer recycling plastics. Please do not put plastics in the recycling bins.

Here is today’s marijuana fact of the day: Using marijuana can impair coordination and distort perception. 

Students who are planning on dual enrolling next semester, please sign up for a meeting with your counselor to schedule your classes. You can do this by signing up on the links that are on the guidance department page. These meetings will take place next week, starting Monday.

The Athletic Boosters have their online spiritwear store open. You can find it by going to The Ida Athletic Boosters facebook page. Orders are due by November 14.

Dual Enrollment students have a grade report due today.

Beginning November 8, Student Leadership is sponsoring Marijuana Awareness Week. Monday is Pajama Day, Tuesday is Hawaiian Day, Wednesday is Camo Day, Thursday is USA Day, and Friday is Flannel Day. If you participate, you get candy!

Anyone interested in Wrestling- Practice begins Monday, after school, in the Wrestling Room. As always, a current physical must be on file to participate.
