Ida Public School District recently issued the following announcement.

Good morning Ida High School! 

Seniors- Our Paying for College Night is scheduled for October 27th from 6:30-8:00 in the Ida High School Media Center. We will be hosting MCCC's financial aid department as they present information about financial aid as well as help families complete the FAFSA.

10-12th Graders-If you are interested in the Military or would like to take an in-depth career test, we are offering the ASVAB on campus on November 9th. The sign-up is in the office. The last  day to sign up is Friday, October 29th. 

Dual enrolled students – You have a grade report due today. Please be sure you are turning these in. 

Western Michigan University will be here on Monday during both lunches.

There will be a mandatory Bluestreak Buddy meeting in room 110 on Monday during both lunches.

Picture retakes are scheduled for November 4. If you are getting your pictures retaken, you must return your original pictures.

The Girls Varsity swim team was part of a quad-meet with Bedford, Pinckney, and Ypsilanti on Tuesday. We had a win against Ypsilanti 94-53; A close meet with Pinckney 72-81; and a hard loss to Bedford 30-133. Gracie Dean dropped 6 seconds in her 100 back for a PR. She also had a 3rd place finish in her 100 free and was in the 2nd place 200 medley relay.

Football Playoff Spiritwear Order Forms are available in the office. Orders and payment are due by Monday. We will receive the order in time for the first playoff game. 

Student Leadership is asking students to wear pink tonight at the game for a Pink Out against Columbia Central. The Pink Out is in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
