Bedford Public Schools recently issued the following announcement.
Quick reminder: Next week is the last chance to get FREE Hearing & Vision Screenings for new Kindergarten students. Have you made your appointment yet if you still need to get this check off of your to-do list before school starts?
The State of Michigan requires all children entering kindergarten to have their hearing and vision screened at least once between the ages of 3 and 5.
The Monroe County Health Department will offer FREE Hearing and Vision screenings at Jackman Road Elementary on the following dates:
Tuesday, August 3rd: 8am - 2pm
Wednesday, August 4th: 8am - 2pm
Thursday, August 5th: 4pm - 7pm
Appointments are required.
