1. TOLL STREET RECONSTRUCTION – LORAIN TO ROESSLER
Salenbien Trucking & Excavating of Dundee is the prime contractor for the reconstruction of Toll Street from Lorain to Roessler. All concrete mainline roadway pavement has now been completed, but Toll Street between Lorain and Calkins and Calkins Street between Toll and Roessler will remain closed until November 13 for concrete curing. At the end of the coming week, subcontractor GM & Sons will be placing new concrete drive approaches and sidewalk ramps in this area. All work is expected to be completed before Thanksgiving.
2. FORMER LA-Z-BOY SITE INFASTRUCTURE INSTALLATION
Salenbien Trucking & Excavating will be continuing this project for the installation of underground utilities and extending Holiday Drive into the former La-Z-Boy World Headquarters site. For the coming week, subcontractor Gerken Paving expects to pave the new Holiday Drive roadway, so there may be spot closures of the right lane of northbound Telegraph Road during this time to allow for staging of trucks.
3. NORTH DIXIE HIGHWAY RESURFACING
Michael Andrews Concrete will be performing adjustment to grade of a few manholes within the roadway that was just resurfaced. For the coming week, the right lane of southbound Dixie Highway between I-75 and Detroit Avenue will be closed for this work.
