MONROE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE: MCCC Wins 7 Awards for Marketing Communications Excellence

Monroe County Community College issued the following announcement on Oct. 23.

Monroe County Community College won seven District 3 Medallion Awards for community college communications yesterday at the District 3 National Council for Marketing and Public Relations Medallions ceremony.

The ceremony was held virtually.

NCMPR is the only organization of its kind that connects marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges, and its Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in communication, honoring excellence exclusively at two-year colleges. District 3 includes Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and the Canadian province of Ontario.

MCCC’s awards included two Gold, one Silver and four Bronze. Below is a breakdown of the awards:

  • Gold: "High-demand Programs Campaign" Radio Series
  • Gold: "Congratulations, Graduates!" Print Ad
  • Silver: "High-demand Programs Campaign" Radio Series (Single)
  • Bronze: "MCCC Website"
  • Bronze: “MCCC Holiday Card”
  • Bronze: "The Foundation at MCCC Website"
  • Bronze: "Tech Update -- Electronic Newsletter for the Applied Sciences and Engineering Division"
The college’s Office of Marketing and Communications was responsible for the development of all of the award-winning projects.
