Cost of college went down for all students at Michigan College of Beauty-Monroe

Tuition and fees fell 0.1 percent for 2018-19 at Michigan College of Beauty-Monroe, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Michigan students paid $15,150 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $21 less than the $15,171 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 70 students received grants or scholarships totaling $156,710 and 38 students took out student loans totaling more than $125,673.

Including all undergraduates (117), 80 students used grants or scholarships totaling $275,334, and 71 students took out $429,155 in federal student loans.
