Rep. Jamie Thompson, a political figure known for her active engagement on social media, recently expressed her views on various issues through a series of tweets. These tweets address events in the House Session and actions by the City of Taylor's School Board.

On June 4, 2025, Rep. Thompson commented on an incident during a House Session where Rep. Joe Fox consistently adds "born and unborn" after the Pledge of Allegiance. She noted that a Democrat female representative reacted by shouting "Oh Shut up". Rep. Thompson described this action as cowardly and disgraceful, urging the individual to come forward.

The following day, June 5, 2025, she criticized the City of Taylor's School Board for passing a resolution opposing local police enforcement of federal immigration laws. She tweeted that it was "extremely disappointing" and tagged both the City of Taylor and its Police Department in her post.

Later that same day, she further expressed her disapproval by suggesting that the school board's decision indicates support for illegal immigration over adherence to legal frameworks. In her tweet, she stated "Sounds like the school board supports illegal immigration and not rule of law."
