Monroe County is in the process of updating the Hazard Mitigation Plan, which will be used to identify measures to reduce the impacts of hazards affecting the residents of Monroe County. The Plan will also qualify the County and the participating jurisdictions for pre-disaster and flood mitigation funds through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The questionnaire has been developed to identify the awareness and concerns of the public on hazards, as well as getting your information to Monroe County Emergency Management to assist in the development of projects to address the hazards. Your participation in completing this survey is voluntary and greatly appreciated.
