Free Event! The 210th Anniversary of the Battles of the River Raisin Commemoration Event Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023.

The schedule of events is as follows:

10:30 a.m.   Musique by Genot Picor & La Compagnie

11:30 a.m.   Tactical Demonstration

12:30 p.m.   Flag & Wreath Laying Ceremony

1:30 p.m.     In Defense of General Winchester vignette

2:00 p.m.     Musique by Genot Picor & La Compagnie

1:30 p.m.     In Defense of General Winchester vignetteg the Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield and the Monroe County Museum System will be hosting this years event at the Visitor Center located at 333 N. Dixie Hwy., in Monroe, Michigan. This is an outside event, please dress accordingly.

Stop in the Visitor Center to see the latest history publications from leading authors of the Battles and Michigan made items in the River Raisin Trade Depot gift shop, with all proceeds benefitting the River Raisin National Battlefield Park Foundation. Foundation Members receive at 10% discount in the gift shop. River Raisin Trade Depot is open during Park hours seven days a week, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
