Hello, and Happy Monday!!
We wanted to share an update from our Project SEARCH program!
The first 2 weeks of school were spent training as if they were new employees. Interns learned about policies and procedures of our host site, ProMedica. They learned about HIPAA. They learned the codes playing frizz-Bowl (Facility, Security, and Medical). They learned about CI-CARE and Always Behavior. They also had Service Excellence Training along with Infection Control.
Intern's began rotation one the week of September 19th. Conner is interning with Dietary Dining Room. Grace is interning in ASU (Ambulatory Surgical Unit), Tyler is interning on a Nursing Unit, Gerald is in the Laboratory and Infusion, Lila is on a Nursing Unit, and Dustin is interning with Dietary Kitchen. Everyone has adjusted well to the new routine and has quickly mastered all of the tasks on their task sheet.
We celebrated their successful start to the year with a breakfast potluck!
