Participants will not need to leave the paved walkway. A team of local “Stream Search” retirees from the RRWC (River Raisin Watershed Council’s) “Adopt-a-Stream” (AAS) program will demonstrate techniques used to gather plant debris and living specimens. Highlighting the importance of healthy freshwater ecosystems to the welfare of all other life in our world, this event will let participants see one method for appraising a stream’s health.
