Incoming Kindergarten Open Houses at Elementary Schools
We held our Kindergarten Registration Expo last weekend and would like to invite our new students (Young Fives & Kindergarten) for next fall to attend an Open House to explore their new school! See where the classrooms are, the gym, music room, art room, the cafeteria, the office, and the playground! See what the inside of a school bus looks like! Meet the Principal and get a picture with our mule mascot!
Monday, May 2nd: Jackman Road Elementary School
Tuesday, May 3rd: Monroe Road Elementary School
Wednesday, May 4th: Douglas Road Elementary School
Each of the schools will be open from 5-7 pm. We are asking students with last names A-M to attend from 5-6 and those with last names from N-Z to attend between 6-7 pm.
Didn’t make it to the Kindergarten Registration Expo? The office will be open from 5-7 pm to accept new registrations (or any outstanding documentation to complete any partial registrations). See our website, https://www.bedford.k12.mi.us/our.../register_a_new_student, for what you need to bring with you to register.
Free Hearing & Vision Screenings will also be offered at each school on the date of their respective Open Houses. Monroe County Health Department staff will be available from 4:30-7:30 pm to conduct the screenings.
