Congratulations to Eyler Elementary School and Sterling Elementary School for earning Emerald Awards for the Michigan Green Schools program! Another congratulations to Fred W. Ritter Elementary School for earning a Green Award!
The schools were awarded during the 15th annual Monroe County Earth Day Expo, held at Monroe County Community College.
The Michigan Green Schools program partners with schools to help them conserve energy and become environmental stewards. Activities focus on reducing-reusing-recycling, energy and environmental protection.
