Bedford Public Schools issued the following announcement on Mar 15.
Mrs. Jennifer Regalado, Bedford High School’s HOSA Chapter Advisor, was also excited to take the students to the State Leadership Conference this year, “I am very proud of all of the students who participated in the State Leadership Conference. It was a great experience to be in Traverse City with both students and their families and students represented Bedford well in all aspects of the conference.”
Bedford High School had 14 students attend the Michigan HOSA State Leadership Conference with students placing in the Top 10 in 4 events:
Hussein J. & Ilana R. - 1st place, Health Education
Mollie K. - 3rd place, Nutrition test
Jillian M. - 3rd place, Cultural Diversity & Disparities test
Gavin R., Liam S., Anthony K. - 7th place, Public Service Announcement
Students that place in the Top 3 of their events earn a spot at the International Leadership Conference to be held in Nashville, Tennessee on June 22-25, 2022. Ilana, Hussein, Mollie and Jillian will be representing Bedford at this global gathering of future health professionals!
