Custer Elementary School issued the following announcement on Feb 15.
We had some special guest visit our first grade classroom from Project Second Chance. Project Second Chance pairs troubled youth with abandoned dogs. They work together to give the dogs a second chance in life. The dogs are housed for three weeks in PSC kennels where they are cared for, groomed, and trained by the youth participants.
Then the dogs are put up for adoption to find their forever homes.
