Town of Bedford recently issued the following announcement.

The Monroe County Road Commission has partnered with the Monroe County Recycling & Green Community Program and Bedford Township to offer Christmas tree recycling.

After the holidays, live Christmas trees can be recycled for free.  "It is a great way to lessen your impact on the environment and keep your holiday season green.  We average 300 trees each year that will be chipped and reused around our community rather than ending up in a landfill, " said Dan Rock, Recycling and Green Community Program Coordinator.

Live tree recycling will be from December 26, 2021 - January 10, 2022.

Bedford Township - Carr Park - 9240 Lewis Avenue, Temperance
