Bedford Township Fire Department issued the following announcement on June 1.
We are all humans. There is unity in our diversity. When we look in the mirror, let us see what we share with others, not what divides us.
On Monday, June 1, the Toledo Museum of Art shared across its social channels a post addressing the pain and hurt our community is experiencing and its commitment to listen, learn and convene the conversations we need to have to support the Black community.
In a letter sent to the Museum’s staff earlier today, TMA Director Adam Levine reinforced the institution’s renewed commitment to its ongoing efforts of diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion and its ongoing commitment to bringing the entire community into discussions of these important issues.
There is much work we need to do, and we are committed to doing it. We will be methodical, but we will be steady. We will be diligent and we will do this together.
