According to the data submitted by the Michigan Center for Educational Performance and Information and the Michigan Department of Education, 29 high schools in Michigan had a 100% on-time graduation for the class of 2019. Another 48 registered a 98% on-time graduation rate.
In Monroe County, four schools made the list. Dundee Community High School has a graduation rate of 100%, as does Summerfield High School. Ida High school has a 99% graduation rate, and Whiteford High School has a 98% graduation rate.
Private school students are not tracked as the process is strictly kept on public schools. The graduation rate is calculated based on the enrollment of students from their initial admission as ninth graders.
Around 81.4% of statewide public school students who graduated in the summer of 2019 entered ninth grade in the fall of 2015.
The data has excluded schools with less than 10 graduates. The data was released in early March.
