State Rep. Jamie Thompson of Brownstown attended the opening of Main Event, a new business in Taylor, on August 11. The event included a ribbon cutting and ceremonial “first roll” at the bowling alley, restaurant, and arcade center. Thompson was joined by Taylor Mayor Tim Woolley, members of the Southern Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, and other local officials.

Thompson represents areas that include parts of Taylor as part of Michigan’s 28th House District, which covers portions of Wayne and Monroe counties.
