There was a single gas station in cities across Monroe County selling diesel at the lowest price of $3.19 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 1, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of diesel in cities within Monroe County was $3.45 per gallon.
Of the 58 reported gas stations in cities within Monroe County, eight offer diesel.
The $3.55 average reported price of diesel in Michigan was unchanged from the previous week.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
