On Friday, Feb. 14, former Whiteford High School standout Aly VanBrandt’s current college team, the Indiana Hoosiers, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.
The game took place at Nancy Almaraz Field. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.
The Hoosiers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3:30 p.m. at Rocky Johnson Field against Texas Tech Lady Raiders.
